Post Ticketing Fees
Global Reservation Desk - Post-Ticketing Fees
Some services may incur extra costs once a plane ticket has been issued. The following services are provided:
- Special request handling
- Refunds
- Exchanges
- Waivers
Each passenger and ticket will be charged the same post-ticketing fee unless otherwise specified. The currency you choose at checkout will be applied to all fees.
Here is an easy-to-understand explanation of how post-ticketing costs often function.
Cancellations After 24 Hours
If refund requests received within one day of scheduled appointment time:
All Classes
- Domestic flights: $250
- International flights: $250
Ticket Exchanges
Airline fare guidelines are the ultimate arbiters of refund approval.
Cancellations made after the first day Requests for cancellations made after the first day:
- Domestic flights: $250
- International flights: $250
Only if the airline's policies permit them can a refund be processed.
Ticket Exchanges
Ticket exchange costs are as follows:
- Up to $120 per passenger for tickets under $1,000.
- If the ticket price is $1,000 or more, the airline may impose a penalty of up to $120, or 15% of the ticket value, whichever is greater.
- When changing carriers, additional penalties may be imposed by the airline.
Payment Processing Fee Waivers
Certain costs may be applicable when a waiver request necessitates the involvement of an agent.
Economy Class
- Domestic flights: $50
- International flights: $75
Business / First Class
- Domestic flights: $100
- International flights: $200
The airline always has the last say in approving a waiver.
Requests for Special Cases
There may be extra charges after purchasing the ticket for the following reasons:
- Cases involving death or loss
- Situations involving military emergencies
- Visa or Schengen visa problems
- Processing refunds
- Correcting names
- Changing routes
- Extending ticket validity
- Dealing with no-shows
- Requests from unaccompanied minors
The policies of the airline apply to all such instances
Handling Compassion Exceptions
Under our Compassion Exception Policy, Global Reservation Desk gives priority consideration to:
- Military travelers
- Bereavement cases
- Travelers with visual impairments
Airline paperwork and rules are the final arbiters of all clearances.
Noteworthy Points
- Travelers might be classified as adults, children, seniors, babies, students, or members of the armed forces.
- There are fees associated with post-ticketing for each passenger and ticket.
- Typically, fees cannot be refunded.
- The prices might alter whenever you like.
- Priority is always given to airline fare rules.
Credits and Refunds
- The majority of plane tickets cannot be refunded.
- Refunds or future credits are determined by airline policies.
- In most cases, waivers are not applicable for no-show tickets.
- Refunds cannot be processed unless the airline gives their consent.
Unique Requests for Assistance
We handle some service cases individually, such as:
- Changes to names
- Problems with passports or visas
- Claims for lost or stolen items or pets
- Recording of no-shows
- Instances of denied boarding
- Problems with duplicate tickets
Here are some examples of supporting documents:
- Requests for passports or visas
- Letters from airlines denying a passenger's bags
- Reprising tickets
After the service is finished, you can apply for a refund, but it's subject to the airline's acceptance.
Important Reminder
After the ticket is issued, all service expenses are:
- Cannot be refunded.
- Packed on top of any penalty levied by the airline.
When paid for, they are converted into the local currency and must be authorized by the airline. No charges will be applied unless the whole amount is confirmed by an agent from the Global Reservation Desk.
